CHAPTER 177. AN ACT to allow the County Commissioners of Charles county to pay Richard Barries, Senior, the usual per diem and compensation during the time he was prevented in eighteen hundred and seventy-four and eighteen hundred and seventy-five by sickness, from attending as Chief Judge of the Orphans Court.

Allow compensation

SECTION 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That in view of his long and faithful services as Chief Judge of the Orphans Court of Charles county, the county commissioners for said county be, and they are hereby authorized to allow Richard Barnes, Senior, out of the next assessment or out of any surplus funds in their hands at the passage of this act the usual per diem and compensation during the time he was prevented by sickness in eighteen hundred and seventy-four and eighteen hundred and seventy-five from attending the sessions of the Orphans Court aforesaid, the days of his nonattendance to be ascertained and reported by the register of
