Proviso.

assessment and taxation by the laws of this State; provided that no extra assessment shall be made, and no extra or special tax shall be levied or collected on any bridge or bridges over streams, or on any tunnel forming any part of the roadway of any railroad or railroads in this State, it being the meaning and intent of this act, that any bridge over streams or any tunnel forming a portion of the roadway of any of said railroads shall be valued at the same rate that any other equal portion of said road is valued.

Repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all laws or parts of laws inconsistent with the provisions of this act, be and the same are hereby repealed.

In force.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 160.

AN ACT to encourage the killing of Hawks, Big Owls, Foxes and Weasels in the Counties of Charles and Calvert.

Be entitled.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That any person killing any hawk, big owl, fox or weasel within the limits of Charles and Calvert counties, shall be entitled to a bounty of fifty cents for each and every hawk, big owl, fox or weasel so killed.

Be necessary.

SEC. 2. And be. it enacted. That to obtain said bounty it shall be necessary for the person killing any hawk, big owl, fox or weasel, to produce the head of such hawk or big owl, and the tail of such fox or weasel before some justice of the peace of the county in which such person may or shall reside, and at the same time make oath that. the said hawk, big owl, fox or weasel was killed within the limits of said
