SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That if any person shall at any time between the fifteenth day of January and the first day of October in any year, by shooting, trapping or otherwise kill or destroy any rabbits he shall forfeit for every such offence the sum of five dollars.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That no person shall in any way kill or destroy between the fifteenth day of March and the fifteenth day of December of each year, any mink, otter or muskrat under a penalty of five dollars for each animal so killed.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted. That if any person shall at any time of the year take, kill or destroy any of the birds called robins, thrushes, larks, blue-birds, killdeers, red-birds, sparrows, wrens, martins, woodpeckers, bobiolinks, yellow-birds, linnets, bats, knight-hawks, branchrobbins, mocking-birds, goldfinches, cat-birds, sapsuckers, tomtits or other insectiverous birds, or shall between the first day of February and the first day of November in any year bait, take, kill or destroy any of the birds called plovers or sandpipers, or any of the birds called partridges or quails, or shall within the respective time aforesaid sell, buy or have in possession any of said birds, taken or killed in the said county, he shall forfeit for every
