AN ACT giving the sanction of the General Assembly of Maryland, to the bequest of a legacy in the last will and testament of Daniel Wolford, late of Washington county, deceased, to the Church of God at Brad Fording in Washington county.

Preamble.
|
WHEREAS, Daniel Wolford, late of Washington county, deceased by his last will and testament, directed his executor therein named to pay over to Jacob Shipp, Nicholas Greenawalt and Joseph C. Hershberger the proceeds of his real and personal estate, with the exception of the part of his estate devised to his wife for life or widowhood, and at the death or marriage of his said wife for his executor to sell the same and pay over the proceeds thereof to the said Jacob Shipp, Nicholas Greenawalt and Jos. C. Hershberger, to be used by them in keeping in repair the Church of God at Broad Fording in Washington county, Maryland.

Bequest sanctioned.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That sanction is hereby given to the devises and bequests in the last will and testament, now of record in the office of the Register of Wills of Washington county Maryland, of Daniel Wolford late of Washington county deceased in favor of Jacob Shipp, Nicholas Greenawalt and Joseph C. Hershberger, as trustees for the keeping in repair and furnishing fuel for the Church of God at Broad Fording in Washington county, Maryland.
