CHAPTER 113.
AN ACT to repeal section five of chapter three hundred and eighty-one of the acts of eighteen hundred and seventy-two, entitled an act to provide for the 'destruction of hawks and owls, and to protect the class of small birds, known as insectivorous birds in Prince George's, Talbot and Montgomery counties, and to re-enact the same, with amendments, so as to exclude Montgomery and Talbot counties from the provisions of said section.

Repealed and re-enacted.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That section five of chapter three hundred and eighty-one of the acts of eighteen hundred and seventy-two, entitled an act to provide for the destruction of hawks and owls, and to protect the class of small birds known as insectivorous birds in Prince George's, Talbot and Montgomery counties, be and the same is hereby repealed, and re-enacted so as to read as follows:

County Commissioners to pay reward.
|
SECTION 5. The County Commissioners of Prince George's county shall pay the sum of fifty cents per head for every hawk or owl killed in said county on the production of such proof as is required by sections, one, two, and three of article thirty-one of the Code of Public General Laws, title " crows. "

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this, act shall take effect from the date of its passage.
