to levy a sum of money or issue bonds for repairing and altering the court house in said county, " be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to read as follows:

Levy or issue bonds.
|
1. The county commissioners of Queen Anne's county, be and they are hereby authorized and empowered in their discretion, to levy on the taxable property of said county, or issue the bonds of the said county for a sum not exceeding eight thousand dollars, to be applied to the alteration and repair of the court house in said county.

CHAPTER 75.

AN ACT to lay out and establish a new election district in Queen Anne's county, out of portions of the first, second and third election districts of said county, to be called Ruthsburg district, or election district number six.
|
|
New election district.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That a new election district be laid out and established out of portions of district number one, and district number two, and district number three, of Queen Anne's county; the said new district to be known and called by the name of Ruths-burg district, or election district number six.

Boundary line
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the boundary lines of said new district shall run as follows: beginning at Hillsborough, and running with the division line which separates Caroline and Queen Anne's counties, up to the public road from Bennett Down's to the public road running from Roesville; thence with the public road running from William D. Smith's to the brick school house; thence with the public road to Carrville station; thence with the public road to the public road running from Ruthsburg to Centre-
