rules and regulations, which a majority of its members may deem proper, not inconsistent with the constitution or laws of this State or of the United States, to sue and be sued, plead and be impleaded, in any court of law or equity in this State, and shall have a common seal with power to change and alter the same as often as they may deem it expedient, and shall have power to enjoy all and every right and privilege incidental and belonging to corporate bodies according to the laws of this State.

Elect officers.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the said State Grange may elect and appoint officers and agents, with certain prescribed duties, as by its constitutions and by-laws may be directed, shall be able and competent in law to have, hold and enjoy, and shall have power to change and convey such real and personal estate as it may deem proper to acquire.

Limitation.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this act shall be in force for thirty years, and that on the expiration or dissolution of said corporation, the estate thereunto belonging shall not escheat but shall be invested in those of its members as shall be entitled thereto, by direction of the constitution and by-laws aforesaid.

In force.

SEC. 5. Be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from the date of its passage.
