CHAPTER 171.

AN ACT granting the sanction of the General As-
sembly of Maryland to the bequest in the last will
and testament of Christian Sheller, late of Wash-
ington county, deceased, to the Deacons of the
Tunker or Baptist Church at the Broad Fording
in said county.

Preamble.
|
WHEREAS, Christian Sheller, late of Washington
county, deceased, by his last will and testament,
bearing date the eighteenth day of July, in the year
eighteen hundred and seventy-two, and duly admit-
ted to probate and recorded in the office of the Reg-
ister of Wills for Washington county, did direct the
executors, named in said last will and testament, to
pay to the Deacons of the Tunker or Baptist Church
at the Broad Fording, in said county, the sum of
one hundred dollars, the amount of the legacy to
said church in said last will contained; therefore,

Sanction to
bequest.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the sanction of the General Assem-
bly of Maryland be and the same is hereby given and
declared to the above mentioned devise and bequest
of the said Christian Sheller, deceased.

In force.
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from and after the date of its passage.
