SEC 3. And be it enacted, That nothing in this act
contained shall be construed to make any sheriff
answerable for the failure to collect any fees so placed
in his hands as aforesaid, unless the same by the use
of due diligence could have been collected.

CHAPTER 23.

AN ACT to repeal an act entitled "An act to re-
quire all auctioneers making sales in Baltimore
county, to pay a license fee. "
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That an act entitled "An act to require
all auctioneers making sales in Baltimore county, to
pay a license fee, " passed at January session eighteen
hundred and seventy-four, chapter four hundred and
seventy-three be and the same is hereby repealed.

Repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the first day of May next ensuing.
