CHAPTER 102.
AN ACT for the relief of Rachel Wilson, by re-
funding State and county taxes erroneously paid.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Comptroller of the Treasury is
hereby directed to draw his warrant upon the Trea-
surer in favor of Rachel Wilson, of Harford county,
for the sum of fourteen dollars and fifty cents, for
money erroneously paid by her as State taxes in
Harford county.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the County Com-
missioners of Harford county, are hereby authorized
in their discretion, to pay said Rachel Wilson, the
sum of fifty-four dollars and forty cents, for money,
erroneously paid by her as county taxes in said
county.

CHAPTER 103.
AN ACT for the protection of deer in Garrett
county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That it shall not be lawful for any person
or persons to kill, or destroy, or try to kill or destroy
any wild deer in Garrett county, except during the
months of October and November, and it shall not
be lawful for any person or persons during these
months to catch or destroy any wild deer by running
or chasing them by dog or dogs and for each and

every violation of this act, the offender shall, on con-
viction, pay a fine of not less than twenty-five dollars.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the possession by
any person within the county, of the meat of any deer
so killed or destroyed, shall be prima facie evidence
to convict under this act.
