and the board thus enlarged, shall at their first meet-
ing after the qualification of the two thus appointed,

CHAPTER 100.

 

AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to pay the
claims of John Murphy & Co., W. L. Pfeiffer, John
Himelheaver, James E. Tate, McDowel & Co.,
Samuel Stewart, J. W. Kalmery and Kelly, Piet
and Company.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Comptroller of the Treasury, be
and he is hereby requested and directed to issue his
warrant upon the Treasurer, to pay to John Murphy
and Company eighty-three dollars and fifty cents for
stationery for Senate and Codes for the House of
Delegates; to W. L. Pfeiffer for work on and mate-
rials furnished for the Hall of the House of Delegates,
the speakers room, and the various committee rooms,
under the direction of M. Y. Kidd, Chief Clerk, the
sum of eight hundred and fifty-five dollars and
seventy-eight cents; to John Himelheaver, (by order
of the Governor) for repairs to Steam house and
