effect and be in force from the date of its passage

CHAPTER 83.
|
|

AN ACT to authorize the Clerks of the County
Commissioners for Calvert and Washington coun-
ties to administer an oath or affirmation to any
person presenting a claim to the commissioners
of said counties against the county.
|

|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Clerks to the County Commis-
sioners for Cal vert and Washington counties are
hereby authorized and empowered to administer an
oath or affirmation to any person or persons present-
ing a claim to said commissioners against said coun-
ties, for which service said clerks shall not be entitled
to make any charge, the same being hereby made a
part of their official duty as clerks.
