Statutes and Ordinances done,
or to be done or committed, as
well at the Suit of the King,
as of the Party which in such
case feeleth himself grieved,
and of any other of the King's
liege People, which in this be-
half will sue for the King, and
that as well by Examination
of the Parties, or any of them,
according to the Discretion of
the said Mayors, Bailiffs, and
Justices of the Peace, as by
Issues to be tried by Inquisi-
tions duly to be taken, and
other Pleas* and Processes
of the Law of the Land: (12)
and that as well the Party
grieved, as any other liege Man
of the King, that will sue for
the King, shall have the Suit in
that case at his will; (13) and
that he that is so attainted of
any Default. Misprision, Of-
fence, or Trespass done against
the said Statute made the said
first Year, shall pay to him at
whose Suit he is thereof at-
tainted, C. s. and his reason-able Costs of the said Suit, and
to the King another C. s.
