                                        CHAP. LXXIII.
A Supplement to the act *, entitled, An act for quieting Possessions,
    and securing and confirming the Estates of Purchasers. 
Lib. TH.
    No. 2, fol. 65.

Preamble.     WHEREAS by an error in engrossing the said act of assembly,
the word "heretofore" in the fourth section of the engrossed bill
has been inserted instead of the word "hereafter" in the original
bill which passed both branches of the legislature; therefore,
Act to have same
force as if error
had not been committed.
    2.  BE IT ENACTED, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the said act of assembly shall have the same force and operation,
and receive the same construction, as if the said error had not been
committed, and the word "hereafter" had been inserted in the
fourth section of the said engrossed bill in the place of the word
"heretofore."

                                CHAP. LXXIV.
An Act for the relief of Francis Rawlings, of Anne-Arundel county.

Preamble.     WHEREAS it has been represented unto this general assembly, by
the petition of Richard B. Watts, the next friend of Francis Rawlings,
that the said Francis Rawlings has been for many years deprived
of his reason, and is very poor; and inasmuch as the particular
situation of the said Francis Rawlings renders it unsafe to
place him in the poor's house.
Levy authorised
for his support.
    2.  BE IT ENACTED, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the justices of the levy court of Anne-Arundel county be and they
are hereby authorised and directed, to assess and levy on the assessable
property of said county, a sum of money, not exceeding thirty
dollars, for the support and maintenance of the said Francis Rawlings,
and that the same be collected and paid to Richard B. Watts,
or his order, by the collector of said county.

                                 CHAP. LXXV.
An Act to make a further provision for the erection of a new Court
            House for Baltimore County.

Levy of $ 40,000
authorised to be
levied in four annual
instalments.
    1.  BE IT ENACTED, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the levy court of Baltimore county be and they are hereby authorised
and required, to assess and levy upon the assessable property 
of said county, in four successive annual instalment, to be assessed
by the said court at their first session after the passage of this
act for the purpose of laying the county levy, and to be collected
by the collector of said county.
To be paid over
agreeably to provisions
of act passed
1805.
    2.  AND BE IT ENACTED, That the said sum of money shall be
collected and paid over agreeably to the provisions of the act, entitled,
An act to provide for the erection of a new court house for
Baltimore county, passed at November session, in the year on
thousand eight hundred and five †, and the commissioners named
and appointed by the said act, on receipt of the said sum of money,
shall apply the same to the erection and completion of the said
new court-house, and account therefor pursuant to the provisions
of the above recited act; Provided, that in no one year shall the
said levy court assess and levy on the said county more than ten
thousand dollars for the purpose aforesaid, any law to the contrary
notwithstanding.
