                                LAWS OF MARYLAND.

to receive for the stating an account of the same number of 
sides which any statement by him to be made as auditor shall contain,
to be paid by the plaintiff to such auditor, and to be allowed
to such plaintiff in his costs against the executor or administrator,
as other costs are taxed against them.

                                          CHAP. LXXX.
An Act extending the time for taking the Bond of the Sheriff of Baltimore
                            County.

Preamble.

    WHEREAS it is provided by an act of the general assembly,
passed at November session, seventeen hundred and ninety-four,*
entitled, An act for the amendment of the law in certain cases,
that the sheriffs bonds shall be hereafter taken on some day between
the eighth of October and the first day in January in each
year:  And whereas Thomas Bailey, the sheriff of Baltimore county,
hath not entered into bond agreeable to the above recited act;
therefore,
Time for taking
bond extended.
    2.  BE IT ENACTED, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That 
the time for taking the bond of the sheriff of Baltimore county be
extended to the first day of February next, and that if the said
sheriff shall, at any time before or on the said first day of February
next, give a bond, agreeably to the provisions of the said recited
act, the said bond shall have the same effect, to all intents and
purposes, as if the said bond had been taken on the thirty-first day
of December, eighteen hundred and four.

                                        CHAP. LXXXI.
A Supplement to an act, entitled, An act to extend the powers of the
    Levy Court of Allegany County relative to Roads in said County.

Proviso.

    1.  BE IT ENACTED, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That 
the justices of the levy court of Allegany county be and they are
hereby authorised and empowered, to order and direct the supervisor
or supervisors of the public roads in Allegany county to improve,
and keep in good repair, the whole or any part of any public road
or roads in said county, and to apportion the money and labour
to the said road or roads, or parts thereof, as the case may be, and
when such order shall be made, the road or roads, or parts thereof,
shall be kept in repair agreeably to the provisions of the act of assembly
in such case made and provided for Allegany county; Provided
nevertheless,
that if any person shall consider himself aggrieved
by any such order of the justices of the levy court, it shall and
may be lawful for such person to appeal from any such order or determination
of the justices aforesaid to the justices of the county
court, within twelve months thereafter, and the opinion of the said
county court shall be final and conclusive on the same.
