of interest made in specie on the loan, &c.
    10.  Resolution directing him to advance a sum of money
for the purpose of building and finishing a church in
Annapolis, &c.
    11.  Resolution directing him to pay surplus interest on
final settlement of certificates, &c.
    12.  Resolution directing him to pay the interest due on
such certificates that have not been subscribed, &c.
    13.  Resolution directing him to preserve any certificates
or evidence of debts which in the hands of individuals
would be subscribable as part of the quota of assumed

a certificate for £ 393 7 4, &c.

hundred and sixteen pounds twelve shillings and five

the adopted child of the state, one hundred pounds per

    17.  Resolution directing him to advance on loan to Jesse
Hollingsworth, and others, eight thousand dollars, for rebuilding
the academy at Baltimore, &c.
    18.  Resolution directing him to pay Alexander C. Hanson
one thousand dollars for the system of testamentary
laws prepared by him, &c.
    19.  Resolutions authorising him to pay off all certificates
heretofore issued by the state, &c.

    20.  Resolutions authorising him to pay off, &c. the
amount of such bills of credit, &c. as may be produced to
the treasury, &c.

    21.  Resolutions authorising him, upon application of
persons who lodged money in the treasury for the purpose
of discharging debts due to British merchants, &c. to return,
&c.

    22.  Resolution directing him to advance six hundred
dollars to the order of the trustees of Charlotte Hall
School,
    23.  Resolution directing him to pay to James Weems
two hundred and thirty three pounds sixteen shillings and
six pence, &c.
    24.  Resolution directing him to credit the amount against
Thomas Renshaw with the amount of the same, &c.
    25.  Resolution authorising him to receive from the late
treasurer of the eastern shore all monies which were deposited
in the eastern shore treasury in discharge of debts
due to foreigners, &c.
    26.  Resolution directing him to endorse on the bond
given by Charles Lecompte a credit, &c. and to deliver up
the said bond to be cancelled, &c.
    27.  Resolution authorising him to subscribe for the use
of the state for one hundred and thirty four shares in the
Bank of Baltimore, &c.
    28.  Resolution directing the treasurers of the western
and eastern shores respectively not to deposit in any bank
any specie or bank notes, &c. nor to exchange, &c. unless
by the direction of the legislature, &c.
    29.  Resolution authorising him to subscribe on behalf
of this state in the Union Bank of Maryland four hundred
and twenty four shares, &c.
    30.  Resolution authorising him, so soon as the two hundred
thousand dollars loaned for the use of the city of
