                APPENDIX——RESOLUTIONS.

Jump, as agent to the state for the purpose of collecting the arms,
&c. under the authority of a resolution of this legislature; what
state and condition the aforesaid arms are in; how many are fit for
use, and how many are out of order; and the armourer of said armoury
is hereby requested and directed, to give the aforesaid Colonel
Wm. B. Smith, Major Jabez Caldwell, and Captain Wm.
Hayward, jun. what information they may require to carry into
effect this resolution.
    RESOLVED, That the treasurer of the eastern shore pay unto
Colonel Wm. B. Smith, Major Jabez Caldwell, and Captain Wm.
Hayward, jun. or their order, out of any unappropriated money in
the treasury, the sum of two dollars each, for each and every day
they may be occupied in discharge of their duty under the foregoing
resolution.

                                        No. 7.
    RESOLVED, That the treasurer of the western shore be, and
he is hereby directed, to pay to Elizabeth Beall, the widow of Lloyd
Beall, late a captain in the revolutionary war, or her order, during
life, annually, in quarterly payments, a sum of money equal to the
half pay of a captain.

                                        No. 8.
    RESOLVED, That the treasurer of the western shore of Maryland
be and he is hereby authorised to pay to Samuel Moale, the
trustee of Mark Alexander, deceased, or his order, for the use of
the creditors of said Alexander, for the payment of a British debt,
which has since been received by the creditors of Christopher
Court, and Mildred and Roberts, to whom it was due by due course
of law, upon Cloe Cockey giving bond to be approved of by the
said treasurer to refund the aforesaid sum of money in case a certificate
shall at any time be produced to the treasurer, acknowledging
that on the seventeenth day of May, in the year seventeen
hundred and eighty-one, Mark Alexander paid to the treasurer for
Christopher Court, the sum of forty-eight pounds six shillings and
eight pence, and for Mildred and Roberts thirty-two pounds seventeen
shillings and six-pence, by virtue of an act passed at October
session seventeen hundred and eighty, entitled, An act for calling
out of circulation the quota of the state of the bills of credit emitted
by acts of assembly under the old government, and by the resolved
of the convention.

Repealing resolution 
relative to
executors of James
Earle.
                                        No. 9.
    RESOLVED, That the resolution passed at the session of the general
assembly of Maryland, in the year eighteen hundred and fourteen,
authorising and requiring the judges of the court of appeals
to order and direct the executors of James Earle to proceed by a
specified time to complete the records in the office of the late general
court, for the eastern shore, and in the office of the court of
appeals, of which respective offices he had been clerk, by recording
all papers and proceedings which remained unrecorded, and the
of the said judges late made in pursuance thereof, be repealed, and
the same are hereby repealed.
