                                        CHAP. XCVIII.
An Act requiring the Register of Wills of Baltimore County to give
        daily attendance at his Office.

Register to give
daily attendance 
at his office.
    BE IT ENACTED, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
from and after the passage of this act, it shall, and it is hereby declared
to be, the duty of the register of wills of Baltimore county
to give daily attendance at his office in the city of Baltimore, either
in person or by deputy, for the purpose of discharging the duties
incident thereto.

                                            CHAP. XCIX.
An Act to lay out a Road in Anne-Arundel and Baltimore Counties.

Preamble.     WHEREAS it is represented to this general assembly, by the petition
of Francis Holland, James Croxall, and sundry inhabitants
of Anne-Arundel and baltimore counties, that the convenience of
the public would be greatly promoted by opening a road from Francis
Holland's landing, on Patapsco river, until it shall intersect the
road leading to the city of Annapolis, and also to straighten and
amend the road leading from James Croxall's point, in Baltimore
county, until it shall intersect the George-town road near Mrs.
Carroll's bridge; therefore,
Commissioners appointed
to survey
and lay out road.
    2.  BE IT ENACTED, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
Oliver Cromwell, Horatio Johnson and Ebenezer Steuart, be and
they are hereby appointed commissioners to survey, lay out and
open, a road, not exceeding thirty feet wide, in the straightest and
