            INDEX TO THE LAWS.

    A road to be laid out from C. Ross's plantation, to
intersect the state line near Brown's Chapel,
    A bridge to be built over Tuckahoe creek,
    Money to be levied for the support of the children of
J. Guin,
    A road to be laid out from J. Pearce's, to intersect
the road at or near Bullock's-town,
    The road from the upper part of the county to Denton,
through T. Saulsbury's lot, to be reviewed, &c.
    Penalty on persons setting up booths or selling liquor
near the Methodist Camp or Quarterly Meetings,
    A company incorporated for building a bridge over
Choptank near Dover ferry,
    Part of the road therein mentioned discontinued,
    Part of the road from Hunting Creek Mill to Fowling
Creek, &c. to be altered,
    A company incorporated for building a bridge over
Choptank at or near Denton ferry,
    Money to be levied for the support of Nancy Rouse,
    Certain lands vested in the trustees of the Presbyterian
Congregation of Queen-Anne's and Caroline
counties,
    Betree Swamp to be drained,
    Money to be levied for the support of Sarah Wooters,
—For the support of Alexander Malcomb,

    The Bank of Caroline established in Denton,

—The charter continued and extended to the 1st of
January 1835, provided that the said bank is not released
from the terms and conditions prescribed by the act
of 1813, ch. 122,
    Money to be levied for the support of Susan Rouse,
    The Caroline Manufacturing Company incorporated,
    The road from Frazier's new road to Hog Island authorised
to be discontinued,
    Money to be levied for poor out pensioners,
    The Choptank Bridge Company authorised to contract
with the levy court, for the passage of the citizens
over the said bridge, &c.
    Money to be levied for the support of James Woods,
—For the support of Casson Fountain,
    The levy court authorised to discontinue part of the
road called Carter's Road,
    Money to be levied for the support of Mary Wyatt,
    The place of holding the elections in the third election
district changed, and other acts repealed,
    Money to be levied for the support of James Ridgaway,
    The mode of repairing the public roads altered, and
all acts inconsistent repealed,
    The bailiff or constable of Denton not to serve process
without the limits of the village,
    Allowance to the sheriff for keeping prisoners, increased,
    Provision made for schools and for the promotion of
education in Caroline county,
    Commissioners of the school fund appointed,
    An act for the relief of the poor—former acts repealed,
    Money to be levied for the support of Nancy and
Mary Saulsbury,
—For the support of William Comegys and his
children,

    A lottery authorised for erecting a hall in Baltimore,
and supporting a school,

    Of Montgomery county—money to be levied for his
support,
