ADJOURNMENT

            INDEX TO THE LAWS.

    Certain acts done by persons as commissioners,
who were conscientiously scrupulous of taking an
oath, declared valid,
    The acts of two justices of the peace in Baltimore
confirmed and made valid,

    Sundry acts therein mentioned revived and continued
to 30th October 1805, and to the end of the next
session thereafter,
— Acts not therein enumerated, which had expired
since the (then) last session revived, and continued to
30th October 1801, &c.
— All acts which would expire with that session
continued in like manner, except certain acts therein
mentioned.
—The continuances subject to alterations which
might have been made.
    Acts to revive, continue and make permanent, the
acts of assembly therein mentioned, subject to alterations
made, &c.

    Acts to revive and continue the acts of assembly
therein mentioned, and every act (not excepted or altered,)
that would expire before the end of the next
sessions respectively.
    All acts limited to continue to the end of that session
or which would expire during the same, or before
the end of the next session, continued to the 31st of
October next, and until the end of the next session
thereafter, unless such as are repugnant to, or inconsistent
with, any law of that session, and subject to alterations
made therein.
— Continuing acts, with similar provisions, 1805,
ch. 51; 1807, ch. 124; 1808, ch. 99; 1809, ch. 172;
1810, ch. 147; 1811, ch. 223; 1812, ch. 195; 1813, ch.
149; 1814, ch. 125; 1815, ch. 226; 1816, ch. 267; 1817,
ch. 198; 1818, ch. 110.
    All laws thereafter passed to be recorded in the
office of the Court of Appeals for the western shore.

    Directions for the annual printing of the laws by the
printer to the state,
— Bond to be given for performing the duty,
    The governor and council authorised and required
to cause the laws to be forwarded to the different counties,
—Appropriation therefor,
— Former acts repealed,

    Of Charles county, money to be levied for his support,

    Directions concerning the removal of suits to any
county court within the district, on a suggestion that
a fair trial cannot be had where they were depending,
to be supported by affidavit, &c.

    Directions for removing prosecutions to an adjoining
county on a suggestion that a fair trial cannot
be had where they are depending, to be supported
by affidavit,

    Directions for division, &c. where lands lie adjoining,
though in different counties.  See Descents.

    Elections to be continued without adjournment, and
closed the same day,
    On the judge of the court of appeals on either shore
not attending at the November and December sessions,
