CHAPTER I.
An act to settle and ascertain the Salary of the Member of the Council

BE IT ENACTED, by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That
each member of the council shall be entitled to receive, for the ensuing
year, the sum of five hundred and thirty-four dollars current
money, for his salary. |

CHAP. II.
An Act to alter and change the place of holding the Elections in
the
Fifth Election District in Anne-Arundel County.

BE IT ENACTED, by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That
the judges of the fifth election district in Anne-Arundel county, be
and they are hereby authorised and directed, to hold in future the
elections in said district at and in the house of Henry Whalen, on
the Frederick-town turnpike road, any law, usage or custom, to
the contrary notwithstanding. |

An Act for the benefit of Matthew Murray, late Sheriff of Baltimore

BE IT ENACTED, by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That
the judges of Baltimore city court be, and they are hereby authorised,
to ascertain and liquidate the claim of Matthew Murray, late
sheriff of Baltimore county, to the first day of October last, for
supporting insolvent debtors confined in the gaol of said county. |
