or lotteries shall be completed, apply the money raised by such lottery
for the purpose of finishing the house in which is held the Masonic
Lodge, known by the name of " Door to Virtue Lodge," in
Frederick county, and for the support of a free school in said
house.

CHAP. 133.

    2.  AND BE IT ENACTED, That it shall be the duty of the said
commissioners, before they act as such, to lodge the bond entered
into as aforesaid in the office of the clerk of Frederick county court,
there to be recorded, and upon such bond, or any office copy
thereof, suit or suits may be instituted against the obligors therein,
or any of them, or their legal representatives, for any breach or
noncompliance with the conditions of the same.

                                    CHAP. CXXXIV.
An Act for the benefit of Sarah B. Parker, of Calvert County.  Lib.

    Authorised to sell and convey her reversionary interest in all the property which
belonged to her at the time of her marriage, and all which has since descended to
her notwithstanding her coverture.

                                    CHAP. CXXXV.
An Act to exempt Spinning-Wheels and Looms from Execution and
                        Distress.

    BE IT ENACTED, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
from and after the passage of this act, it shall not be lawful to
seize or take by distress, or on execution, any spinning-wheel or
loom which shall be loaned or hired out to any person or persons,
for any house rent or debt due by such person or persons.

                                    CHAP. CXXXVI.

    out a certain Road in Baltimore County.

Passed Jan. 28, 1814.
    1.  BE IT ENACTED, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
Charles Gorsuch, Nathan Baker, John Jeffries, James McComas
and Buckler Bond, be and they are hereby appointed commissioners,
and they, or a majority of them, are hereby authorised and
empowered to review the locations of a road made under the act to
which this is supplementary, and make any alterations in the same
that they may think necessary for the public convenience, and lay
out, mark and bound the same, in the straightest and best direction
the nature of the ground will admit of, and the road, when so
laid out, marked and bounded, and the valuation hereinafter directed
to be made shall have taken place, and a plot of the same made
out and returned to the clerk of Baltimore county court, to be recorded
among the records of said county, shall for ever thereafter
be deemed and taken for a public highway, and be kept in repair
as other public roads in said county; Provided always, that the
said road shall not be laid out so as to interfere with any race,
canal, dam or water works, or injure or destroy the right or
privilege owned or held by any person or persons of using, conveying
or employing, the water of the Little Falls of Gunpowder River.
