which buildings have been used as such by the inspector
thereof: And whereas it hath been further represented, that doubts
are entertained by the levy court of Baltimore county, whether
under the provisions of the above act of eighteen hundred and
three, the said additional buildings can be considered as part
of the said warehouse, and an act having passed the general
assembly at November session eighteen hundred and eleven, chapter
fifty-two, authorising the levy court of Baltimore county to
consider and take in the additional buildings of James Calhoun adjoining
his inspection warehouse, if approved by the levy court,
as a part of his said warehouse; and it appearing reasonable that
both these inspection warehouses should be put on the same footing
as well as to wharves as buildings, therefore, |

1. BE IT ENACTED, by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That
if the levy court of Baltimore, or the majority of them, shall
approve of the building or buildings adjoining or adjacent to Dugan
and O'Donnell's warehouse, built by the said Cumberland Dugan,
on Dugan's wharf, as convenient and safe for the inspection
and storage of tobacco, in such case the said building or buildings
shall thereafter be taken and considered as a part of the said warehouse,
subject to the same inspection, and entitled to the same storage,
as the same warehouse now is, so that Calhoun's warehouse
and Dugan and O'Donnell's warehouse, in the city of Baltimore,
be both placed on the same footing. |

BE IT ENACTED, by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That
the road from Hancock, in Washington county, to Cumberland, in
Allegany county, as located by Messrs. Elie Williams and Thomas
Moore, under the direction and authority of the levy court of Allegany
be, and the same is hereby declared to be a public road,
and shall be kept in repair as other public roads are in said
counties. |
