BE IT ENACTED, by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That
the
judges of baltimore county court, be and they are hereby authorised
and directed, to extend to Henry Brown, of the city of Baltimore,
the benefit of the act of assembly passed at November session,
eighteen hundred and five*, entitled, An act for the relief of
sundry insolvent debtors, and the several supplements thereto,
without requiring the said Henry Brown to produce the assent, in
writing, of two thirds of his creditors, as is prescribed by the provisions
of the said act and supplements. |

judges, or any one of them, of Charles county court, be and they
are hereby authorised and empowered, without the said Horatio
Clagett first obtaining the consent of two thirds in amount of his
creditors, to extend and afford to the said Horatio Clagett all the
benefits, advantages and provisions, of the act of assembly passed
at November session, eighteen hundred and five †, entitled, An act
for the relief of sundry insolvent debtors, and the several supplements
thereto, in the same manner, and upon the same terms and
conditioned, as if he had obtained the assent of two thirds of his
creditors to his release under the same. |

open and amend, the Road therein mentioned.

WHEREAS it is represented to this general assembly,
by the petition
of sundry inhabitants of Washington county, that the road
from Elizabeth-town to Hancock-town, which is the road to the
western country, is in its present course circuitous, and in some
places almost impassable; that the Conococheague creek, over
which it must pass, is a very deep and rapid stream, often unpassable,
over which it is difficult to erect a bridge that will be permanent,
except in particular well suited points; that they believe the
said road may be shortened, made to go over much better ground,
and be brought to cross the Conococheague creek at a place where
it may be secured from the waters of the same; therefore, |
