The question then recurring sustaining upon the motion" submitted by Mr. Henkle, It was decided in the negative. The question then recurring upon the adoption of the un- favorable report of the Committee, It was adopted. Also, reported back favorably, The bill entitled an Act to refund to Trueman Belt & Sons, of Baltimore City, for the benefit of William D. Bowie, ST., Clement Hill, Mordeica S. Plummer, Washington G Beall and others, moneys erroneously paid by them to In- spectors of Tobacco, in Baltimore City, for outage and storage. Which waa read a first time. Mr. Stone, Chairman of the Committee on Ways and Means, to whom was referred The bill entitled an Act for the relief of the Baltimore City Passenger Railway Company, Reported back the same favorably. Said bill (the rules being suspended) -was then read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. Also, favorably, The Senate bill entitled an Act to pay O. C. Magruder, Junior, a sum of money due him for services rendered the State. Which was read a second time. Also, favorably, A bill entitled an Act to pay to Charles W. Rankin, the balance of pension due to Sarah Wells. Which was read a first time. Also, favorably, A bill entitled an Act to authorize the Comptroller to audit and settle the claim of Catherine Middleton. Which was read a first time Also favorably, |
