On motion of Mr. Cooper,
The House proceeded to the consideration of the unfinished
business of yesterday, being the unfavorable report of the
Committee on the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries on the
bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 33 and 34 of chapter
364 of Acts passed January Session, 1870, title "Oysters,"
and to re-enact the following in lieu thereof, changing the
style of the Oyster Police Board, and making the Commis-sioner of the Land Office one of said Board.
The question recurring upon the motion submitted by
Mr. Stewart on yesterday, to substitute the bill for the unfa-
vorable report of the Committee,
Mr. Smith demanded the yeas and nays.
The demand being sustained,
The yeas and nays were called, and appeared as follows i.
