favorably,
A bill entitled, an Act for the protection of Black Bass,
and all other fish in the Monocacy river and its tributaries,
within the limits of Frederick county.
Which was read a first time.
Also,
A bill entitled, an Act to authorize the County Commis-
sioners of Frederick County to construct fish ways in the
Monocacy river.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Badcliffe, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A bill entitled, an Act for the protection of Terrapins in
the "Waters of Dorchester County.
Which was read a "first time,
Mr. Franklin, Chairman of a Sect Committee, reported
favorably-,
The Senate bill, entitled an Act to authorize and require
the Commissioners of Worcester county, to pay a sum of
money to the Crier and Bailiff of the Circuit Court of said
county.
Which was read a second time.
Mr. Baldwin, Chairman of a, Select Committee, to whom
was referred.
The Senate bill, entitled an Act to protect the class of insectivorous birds in Harford, Howard, Queen Anne's and
Calvert counties, reported back the same favorably with pro-
posed amendments :
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
Amend first section, 4th line, by striking out words "Queen
Anne's," and amend same section, 5th line, by striking out
word "Calvert;" amend title by- striking out the words
"Queen Anne's and Calvert;" section 1st, 5th line, strike out
the word "Robin;," same section, 6th line, strike oat the
word "Lark," which were read, and the further consid-
eration of the bill with pending amendments, informally
postponed
Mr. Whitson, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to authorise the County Commis-sioners of Washington county, to borrow money OH the-credit.
