Pittsburgh, Washington and Baltimore Railroad Company.
Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee
on Corporations.

The hill, entitled an Act to authorize and require the Com-
missioners of Worcester County to levy a sum of money to
pay the Crier and Bailiff of the Circuit Court of said county.
- Which was read a first time and referred to a Select Com-
mittee consisting of Messrs. Franklin, Parker and Langrell.
. Also,
The bill, entitled an Act to authorize the County Commis- sioners of Dorchester County to aid in the construction and
I completion of the Vienna Railroad.
Which was read a first time and referred, to the Committee
OB Corporations.
Also,
'" ^ The bill, entitled an Act to pay William Knabe & Com-
pany the earn of thirteen hundred and fifty dollars, for one
Grand Piano and Extra Cloth Cover furnished to the Execu-
tive Mansion in February, 1870.
Which, was read a first time and referred to the Committee
on Ways and Means.
Also, returned the following bills, severally endorsed

The bill, entitled an Act to authorize the Clerk of the Cir-
cuit Court for Montgomery county to place certain lees in
the hands of the Sheriffs of the several counties of the State
and the City of Baltimore for collection.

, .The bill, entitled an Act to amend the charter of the Bal-
timore and Drum Paint Railroad Company, by increasing
. the number of Directors of said Company.
Also,
The bill, entitled an Act to add new flections to Article
II., of the Code of Public Local Lawn, of jPrederiok county,
- relating to the powers and duties of the Mayor Bind City
Council of Frederick City, to follow section 177, added there-to by the Act of 1870, chapter 314.

The bill entitled an Act to authorize William H B. Dor-sey, of Carroll county, to close a road.
