The bill, entitled an Act for the protection of the Chancery Records of Baltimore City, Wag read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. The bill, entitled an Act to define the duties of the Fire Inspector of Baltimore city, Being upon a second reading, Mr. Jamart' submitted the following amendments : AMENDMENTS PROPOSED. Add as section seven: SECTION 7. And be it enacted, That this Act shall not be so construed or understood as to authorize the Fire Inspector to interfere with, or disregard the authority now vested in the Board of Fire Commissioners of the City of Baltimore, during the time of fire, by the ordinances of said city. Make section 7 read section 8. Which were severally read, and adopted, and, The bill, as amended, was read a second time, and ordered. to be engrossed for a third reading. The bill, entitled an Act to repeal section 211 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Anne Arundel County," sub- title <c Wild Fowl," and enact the following sections in lieu thereof, Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. The bill, entitled an Act to pay John C. Henry, late first officer of the Steamer Leila, of the Oyster Police Force, a sum of money, Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. |
