The question recurring upon the adoption of the amend-
ment submitted by Mr. Duvall on yesterday,
Insert after the word "State" the words, "or employ counsel as he may deem proper."

Mr. Stone moved that. the further consideration thereof he
informally postponed, and that the House proceed to the con-
sideration of printed Senate bill No. 11.
