1872.] OF THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES. 11 part of the Senate, one to be selected from each of the pre- sent Congressional Districts of the State, and five members on the part of the House of Delegates, to be selected in like manner, to report a bill to divide the State into six Congres- sional Districts, so as to provide for a proper representation in the House of Representatives of the United States, under the National Census of 1870, and respectfully concur therein. The Committee on the part of the House will be hereafter appointed. By order, MILTON Y. KIDD, Chief Clerk. Which was read, assented to, and sent to the Senate. Esma Lowe, officer elect, appeared, qualified and entered upon the discharge of his duties. The Speaker appointed D. J. Halloway, of Wicomico county, P. S. Geiger, of Washington county, and W. H. Deetz, of Baltimore City, Committee Clerks, and Jesse C. Morrison, of Baltimore City, Officer of the House, who ap- peared, qualified and entered upon the discharge of their respective duties. On motion of Mr. Feig, At 1 1/4 o'clock, P. M., the House adjournied. |
