On motion of Mr. Kirk,
A call of the House was ordered.
Present at the call of the roll the following members:

Henkle, Bond, Sparrow, Stone, Shipley, Litzinger, Butler,
Smith, Vickers, Groome, Eareckson, Rowe, Delaplane, Miller,
Baldwin, Streett, McCosker, Hamilton, T. H., Cooper, Ja-
mart, Colton, of Baltimore city, Kirk, Chaisty, Harig, Mark-
land, Newcomer, Whitson, Clark, of Montgomery, Coles,
Young, Allegany, Robinette, Steele, Polk, Linthicum—38.
No quorum being present.
On motion of Mr. Kirk,
The Sergeant-at-arms was ordered to notify the absent
members, now in the city, to give their attendance, and to
bring them before the bar of the House.
After an absence of some time, the Sergeant-at-arms re-
turned and reported that he had notified all the absent mem-
bers in the city to give their attendance, and had brought
them before the bar of the House.
On motion of Mr. Kirk,
All further proceedings under the call were dispensed with.
On motion of Mr, Duvall,
The vote by which the bill, for the relief of George T.
Warfield, was rejected for want of a Constitutional majority,
Was reconsidered.
The question then recurring on the passage of the bill,
It was rejected for want of a Constitutional majority, by
yeas and nays, as follows :
