On motion of Mr. Miller, (the rules being suspended,)
The House proceeded to the consideration of bills entitled
to a third reading. '
The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Board of Mana-
gers of the Dolan Children's Aid Society, under the charge
of the Young Catholic's Friend Society, of Baltimore,
Was read a third time and passed by yeas and naya, as fol-

The bill, entitled an Act to add additional sections to Ar-
ticle XXX., of the Code of Public General Laws, title-Crimes and Punishments," which shall be sections 210,.
211, 212, 213 and 214 of said Article,
Being upon a third reading,
On motion of Mr. Staylor,
The enacting clause was stricken out.
The bill, entitled an Act to appoint a Commissioner of
Immigration, to protect the interest of labor and agricul-
ture in the State of Maryland, And also, receive and provide-
for all immigrants arriving at the port of Baltimore,
Being upon a third reading,
Mr. Smith moved that the enacting clause be stricken out.-
