On motion of Mr.Duvall,
The House proceeded to the consideration of the following
order, submitted by him on the 7th instant:
Ordered, That the Officers of the House of Delegates for
their services, during the present session, shall severally re-
ceive the same per diem allowed them at the last session, or
that of 1878 ; and that the Messenger to the Printing Com-
mittee, an additional officer, appointed during the session,
shall receive a per diem of five dollars.
The question recurring upon the adoption of the order,
