Honorably Body with a Statement, showing the amounts
paid to the Annapolis Gas Light Company on account of gas
furnished the State for the year ending January, 1872, and
the amounts of the bills rendered for the months of January
And February, 1872. I herewith report, that there was paid.
to the Annapolis Gas Light Company, to May 1,1871, the sum
of $867.43, since which time, owing to the appropriation for
1879 and 1871, having been exhausted, there has been noth-
ing paid. The bills paid and those since rendered, are as
follow* :

Which was read.
The House then proceeded to the consideration of the spe-
cial order of the day,
Being the veto, by the Governor, of
The Act, entitled an Act directing the County Commission-
ers of Washington county to issue bonds to raise money to
build a Court House in said county, add appointing Commis-sioners to contract to erect the same.
The question recurring upon passing the bill over the veto
of the Governor.
The question being,
"Shall this bill pass, the objections of the Governor to
the contrary notwithstanding ?**
Pending which,
The hour of 3, P. M., having arrived,
The House adjourned,
