W JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 6,

passed March 10, 1864, and to add new sections thereto, no-
tifying and confirming certain Acts of the Commissioners of
said town, and for other purposes, and the supplements
thereto, and to enact an Act to incorporate the town of Sal-
isbury, in Wicomico county,
Was read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.
The bill, entitled an Act to pay the Bailiff of the Circuit
Court of Frederick county, at the end of each term of said
Court,
Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.
The bill, entitled an Act to repeal sections 11 and 12, of
Article VII., of the Public Local" Laws, relating to the ap-
pointment of the Clerk to the County Commissioners of
Carroll county, and to re-enact the same with amendments,
Was read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
third reading.
The bill, entitled an Act to repeal the first and third sections,
of chapter 434, of the Act of the General Assembly, passed
at the January Session, 1868,- entitled an Act to grant do-
nations to Wicomico county for the use of Academies and
Schools, and to re-enact the said. first section of said Act so
a to read as follows,
Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third rending.
The bill, entitled an Act to repeal chapter 456, of the Acts
of 1870, entitled an Act to prohibit stock running at large
in nd around Pikesville, in Baltimore county,
Was read a second .time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.
The bill, entitled an Act to refund to George W. Oldham,
of Cecil county, a certain sum of money erroneously paid into
(he Treasury,
Was read a 'third time, and passed by yeas and nays,
s follows:
