sold. What relief has been extended to the men injured in
the discharge of duty, or to the families of the men or offi-
cers killed whilst in its performance. And all other infor-
mation necessary to a thorough understanding of the whole

Ordered, That the Hon. Wm. H. Deweese, of Caroline
County, be excuse! for this day.

Ordered, That it be entered on the Journal that the mem-
ber from Prince George's county, Frederick Sasscer, was de-
tained from his seat by sickness.

House be furnished to each member of this House, as soon as
practicable, by the proper officer.

Ordered, That the Postmaster furnish each Member of
this House the same amount of postage stamps as furnished
at the last Session, and in accordance with the Act of 1870.

Ordered, That the Committee on the Chesapeake Bay and
its Tributaries be instructed to inquire into the expediency
of reducing the cost of licenses for taking oysters with rakes
or tongs, and also of extending' the time for payment of the
same.
