ciary, reported favorably
The Senate bill, entitled an Act to repeal section 171,
of Article XOIII., of the Code of Public General Laws, re-lating to the investment by guardians of the proceeds of
sale of real estate belonging to their -wards and sold by ft
trustee in equity, and to re-enact the same as follows, with
proposed amendments.
Which was read a second time.
Also, favorably
A bill, entitled<an Act to punish larceny by bailees.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Smith, acting Chairman of the Committee on the
Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries, reported favorably,
A bill, entitled an Act to fix a standard for the measure-ment of oysters in the shell, in the City of Baltimore, and
Crisfield, in Somerset county.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Baldwin, Chairman of a Select Committee, reporter
favorably
A bill, entitled an Act to provide for the appointment of
an additional Justice of the Peace for District No. 3, in Har-
ford county.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Newcomer, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably
A bill, entitled an Act to incorporate the town of Keedys-ville, in Washington county.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Miller, Chairman of a Select Committee, to whom was
referred
The hill, entitled an Act to repeal the Act of Incorporation
of Mechanicstown, Frederick county, Maryland, passed Feb-
ruary 13th, 1832, chapter 111, and the supplements thereto,
and sections 193, 194, 196, 196, 197, 198, 199, 200, 201,
202, 203, 204, 205, 206, 207, 208, 209, 210, 211, 212, of
Article XI., of the Code of Public Local Laws, and also to
amend the Act of Assembly passed at the January Session,.
1870, chapter 98, BO as to make the same valid in law,
Reported back the same without amendments.
