R., Jamart, Stewart, Travers, Clark of Baltimore city, Colton, of Baltimore city, Kirk, Chaisty, Harig, Feig, Markland, Griswold, Young, of Washington, Ardinger, Newcomer, Whitson, Hilton, Riggs, dark, of Montgomery, Porter, Coles, Young, of Allegany, Robinette, Steele, Lamotte, L. A. J., Polk, Lamotte, H. H., Linthi- cum, Johnson, Langrell—69. The Speaker appointed Messrs. Foster, Hilton and Whit- son a Committee, under the order as submitted by Mr. Fos- ter on Thursday, the 8th instant, to whom all petitions in reference to local tariff on freight by the Baltimore and Ohio' Railroad, shall be referred. Mr. Kirk presented the petition of citizens of Baltimore in favor of abolishing convict labor. Which was read and referred to the Committee on Manu- factures. Mr. Smith presented the petition of Henry O. Woodland, and other citizens of Dorchester county, asking for an Act to authorize the County Commissioners of Dorchester county to build a bridge over Fishing Creek, at a point known as Fish- ing Creek Ferry, in said county. Which was read and referred to the Dorchester delega- tion. Mr. Newcomer presented the petition of F. Wyand, P. D. Farney, Ezra Baker, and thirty-five others, asking for the passage of an Act to incorporate the town of Keedysville, Washington county. Which was read and referred to the Washington delega- tion. |
