410 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Feb. 15,
11, of Article LXXI. of the Code of Public General Laws,
title "Oysters," regulating the taking and catching of
oysters with rakes or tongs, and requiring the issuing of
incenses therefor.
Said bill being upon a second reading,
On motion of Mr. Cooper,
The farther consideration thereof was postponed, and the
"bill recommitted to the Committee on the Chesapeake Bay
And its Tributaries.
On motion of Mr. Kirk,
The House resolved itself into the Committee of the Whole
House to consider the bill, entitled an Act to repeal sections
82, 83, 84, 85, 87 and 89, as amended by the Act of 1862,
chapter 65, and section 94 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Frederick county, relating to the Mayor, Aldermen and Com-
mon Council of Frederick City, and re-enact substitutes
therefor. Mr. Chapman in the Chair.
After some time passed in the Committee of the Whole
House, the Speaker resumed the Chair, when the Commit-
tee of the Whole House, through Mr. Chapman, Chairman,
submitted the following report:
The Committee of the Whole House on the bill to re-dis-
trict Frederick city, and to provide a registry law for said
'city, have directed me to report the same to the House, with-
out amendment.

Which was read.
The question then recurring upon the third reading of the
bill,
Mr. Banks moved that the House do now adjourn.
Decided in the negative.
On motion of Mr, Bowie,
A call of the House was ordered.
