The bill, entitled an Act to amend chapter 126, of the
Laws passed January Session, 1870, entitled an Act to
authorize the Faculty and Board of Trustees of the Wash-
ington University of Baltimore, to use the real estate of said
University, situated on the corner of Calvert and Saratoga
streets, in Baltimore City, as a basis of credit, to raise a sum
of money not exceeding ten thousand dollars, by creating a
ground rent thereon, for the use of said University.
Also,
The bill, entitled an Act to exempt Caroline and Kent
counties from the operation of chapter 231, of the Public
Local Laws, entitled an Act to protect fish and wild fowl in
the waters of Queen Anne's, Kent, Caroline and Harford.
counties, passed at the January Session, 1870,
Mr. Linthicum submitted the following message :
BY THE House -OF DELEGATES,
February 13th, 1872.
Gentlemen of the Senate:
We have received your message proposing, with the con-
cunence of this House, the appointment of a Joint Committee
of the two Houses, tour from the House of Delegates, and
three from the Senate, to carry into effect the requirements
of section 45, of Article CXI, of the Constitution, relating
to providing a simple and uniform astern of charges in the
offices of Clerks of Courts and Registers of Wills in the
counties of this State, and in the City of Baltimore, and the
collection thereof, and concur therein.
We have appointed Messrs. Linthicum, Griswold, Hilton
and Sparrow on the part of the House.
