366 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Feb. 13,
Which was read and referred to a Select Committee con-
sisting of Messrs. Bond, Sparrow and Wells.
Mr. Sasscer presented the petition of Richard Bryan and
Henry B Bird, asking the passage oF a law authorizing the
vestry of St. John's parish, Prince George's county, to pur-
chase and hold, in fee simple, twenty-five acres of land tor the
benefit of St. Barnabas Church, of said St. John's parish.
Which was read, and referred to the Prince George's dele-
gation.
Mr. Wilmer presented the petition of John H. Thomas, and
thirty-four others, regulating the fees of Constables and
Magistrates.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on the
Judiciary.
Mr. Chaisty presented the petition of Mary A. Fisher,
widow of Martin, to be placed upon the State pension roll of
the war of 1812, she being 54 years of age.
Also,
< The petition of Sarah A. Yundt, widow of Leonard, to be
restored to the State pension roll of the war of 1812, she
being 71 years of age.
Also,
The petition of Elizabeth Wysham, widow of John, to be
placed upon the State pension rolls of the War of 1812, she
being 56 years of age.
Which were severally read and referred to the Committee
en Pensions.
Mr. Young, of Washington, presented the petition of Ann
Moxley, to be placed on the State pension roll of the war of
1812, she being 82 years of age.
Also,
The petition of Mary A. Widdows, to be placed on the State
pension rolls of the war of 1812, she being 75 years of age.
Also,
The petition of Rebecca Mong, to be placed on the State
pension rolls of the war of 1812, she being 80 years of age.
Which were severally read and referred to the Committee
on Pensions.
Mr. Wells presented the petition of James Revell, State's
Attorney of Anne Arundel county, asking compensation in
the case of the State of Maryland vs. E. G. Wharton,
