CHAPTER 426.
AN" ACT to refund to Samuel B. Hauce, Frederick:
Sasscer, Charles Claggett and Sarah E. Herbert,
moneys erroneously paid by them as State taxes on
Bank stock, into the Treasury of Maryland.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Comptroller of the Treasury be
and he is hereby directed to draw his warrant upon
the Treasurer, in favor of Samuel B. Hauce, for fifty-
nine dollars and eighteen cents; in favor of Frederick
Sasscer, for twenty-nine dollars and sixty-nine cents;
in favor of Charles Claggett, for twenty-four dollars
and seventy-five cents; and in favor of Sarah E. Her-
bert, for five dollars and twenty-seven cents, for
moneys erroneously paid by them as State taxes on
Bank stock.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That tills Act shall take
effect from. the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 427.
AN ACT to authorize and require the commission-
ers of Worcester county to levy a sum of money,
to pay the Crier and Bailiffs of the Circuit Court
of said county.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Wor-
cester county be and they are hereby required to
levy in advance a sum of money sufficient to pay the
Crier and Bailiffs of the Circuit Court of Worcester
county, and the said County Commissioners shall
pay the said Crier and Bailiffs, upon the presentation.
of the certificate of the clerk of said court of their
attendance and service.
