Gassaway is hereby required to report in detail to
the next General Assembly a statement of the repairs
and improvements BO made and of the expenditures
so hereinbefore authorized.
SEC. 4. And he, it enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 413.
AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners
of Dorchester county to aid in the construction
and completion of the Vienna Railroad.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Dor-
chester county, upon the incorporation of the Vienna
Railroad Company, the voting of a majority of the
legal voters of the said county at the next election
for members of the House of Delegates in favor of
county subscription to the capital stock of the said
company, and the approval of this Act by majority
of all the members elected to each House of the
General Assembly of Maryland, as hereinafter pro-
vided for, be and they are hereby required to sub-
scribe for the capital stock of said company to any.
amount they may think necessary to construct and
complete the railroad of said company, not exceeding
in the whole the sum of thirty thousand dollars, and
in payment therefor to issue, on the credit of the said
county, and deliver to the said company at their par
value, the bonds of said county, redeemable in twenty
years from the date thereof, bearing interest at the
rate of six per centum per annum, payable half-
yearly; and the faith and property of the said county
are hereby pledged for the payment and redemption
of the principal and interest of the said bonds; pro-
vided, that no part of the said bonds shall be issued
