SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That if the said commis-
sioners shall order any existing structures to be re-
moved as aforesaid, and the owner, proprietor or
tenant in possession of such structure shall neglect
or refuse to remove the same according to the said
order, such person shall, for such neglect or refusal,
be deemed guilty of a public nuisance, and shall, on
indictment and conviction by the said court as afore-
said, be fined a sum equal to the amount of the cost
of such removal, and stand committed as aforesaid
till the said fine and costs shall be paid.
SEC. 8. And be it enacted. That the said commission-
ers and their surveyor, if one not of their own body
shall be appointed, shall each be entitled to five dol-
lars per day for each day they may serve as such, and
ten cents per mile for each mile traveled in the per-
formance of their duties; and all other persons em-
ployed by said commissioners to aid them in making
said survey and such other duties required by this
Act, shall be entitled to one dollar per day, each, to
lie certified by the said commissioners and paid as
hereinafter provided.
SEC. 9. And be it enacted, That the expenses of the
said commission and survey, the expense of record-
ing the proceedings, and all other expenses incident
to the said commission, not exceeding in the whole
the sum of five hundred dollars, shall be assessed,
levied and paid by the County Commissioners of the
said county, as other county charges are paid; and
all fines imposed and collected under the provisions
of this Act shall be paid to the said County Com-
missioners, to be applied to the necessary county
expenses.
SEC. 10. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take
effect and be in force from the day of its passage and
approval.
