utes, and copies of such other books as have hereto-
fore been furnished to the said court; provided, dupli-
cates are retained for the use of the library.
SEC. 2. And he it further enacted by the authority afore-
said, That the books to be furnished under the first
section of this Act, and all other books that have
heretofore been furnished and not destroyed, or that
mav be hereafter furnished for the use of said court,
shall be under the direction and control of said
court, to be preserved and taken care of as said court
shall direct.
SEC. 3. And he it enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 403.
AN ACT to repeal the one hundred and seventy-
first section, and section one hundred and seventy-
two of article ninety-three, of the Code of Public
General Laws, relating to the investment by guar-
dians of the proceeds of sale of real estate belong-
ing to their wards, sold by a trustee in equity, and
to re-enact the same as follows:
SECTION 1. Be it enacted bill the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the one hundred and seventy-first
and the one hundred and seventy-second sections of
the ninety-third article of the Code of Public Gen-
era] Laws, relating to the investment by guardians
of the proceeds of sale of real estate belonging to
their wards, and sold by a trustee in equity, be and
same is hereby repealed, and re-enacted to read as
follows:
171. They shall order a guardian who has received
from any trustee of a court of equity any proceeds of
real estate of his ward, sold by such trustee, to invest
