Mr. Stone, Chairman of the Committee on Ways and
Means, reported favorably,
A bill. entitled an Act to add additional section to Ar-
ticle LXXXI. of the Code of Public General Laws of this
State, title <( Revenue and Taxes," under the sub-title "As-
sessment of Stocks for State Purposes.
Which was read a first time.
Also, favorably,
A bill, entitled an Act to allow an additional Clerk in the
office of the Treasurer of this State.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Foster, Chairman of the Committee on Corporations,-
reported favorably,
A bill, entitled an Act to amend the Act incorporating the-
Western Maryland Railroad Company, and to give ad-
ditional powers to said company.
Which was read a first time.'
Also, reported favorably,
A bill, entitled an Act to amend the charter of the Balti-
more and Drum Point Railroad Company, by increasing th
number of the Directors of said Company.
