SEC. 11. And be it enacted, That this Act shall not
be construed as implying any interference with the
provisions of the Act of eighteen hundred and sev-
enty, chapter four hundred and fifty-nine, in regard
to the annual correction of lists of registration, which
provisions, as far as they apply to Frederick District,
number two, are not intended to be interfered with
by tills Act.
SEC. 12. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 350.
AN" ACT to add an additional section to article
twenty-one of the Code of Public General Laws,
title " Commissioners to take Acknowledgements,"
subjecting said commissioners to the payment of
a tax.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the following additional section bo
added to article twenty-one of the Code of Public
General Laws, title " Commissioners to take Acknow-
ledgements," and to be section nine of said article:
SEC. 9. (All commissioners appointed under this
article shall pay into the Treasury of the State the
sum of ten dollars; and no commission shall issue
to said commissioners until the Comptroller shall
report to the Governor that the said sum of ten dol-
lars has been paid into the Treasury as hereinbefore
provided.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
