CHAPTER 334.
AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to pay the
claim of Seth W. Warfield, late Collector of State
taxes in Howard county.
SECTION 1. .Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Comptroller of the Treasury be
and he is hereby requested and directed to issue his
warrant upon the Treasurer, to pay Seth W. War-
field, late Collector of State taxes for Howard county.
for taxes overpaid by him, as per the certificate of the
Comptroller, the sum of three hundred and forty-
four dollars and thirty-eight cents.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 335.
AN ACT to repeal an Act entitled "an Act to
enlarge the powers of the Commissioners of Wash-
ington county," under article twenty-one, of the
Code of Public Local Laws, entitled " Washington
county," under the head of County Commission-
ers, by adding thereto the following sub-sections,
passed at January session, A. D. 1870, chapter 222.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Act passed at January session,
A. D. 1870, chapter 222, entitled " an Act to enlarge
the powers of the Commissioners of Washington
county," under article twenty-one, of the Code of
Public Local Laws, entitled " Washington county,"
under the head of County Commissioners, by adding
thereto the following sub-sections, be and the same
is hereby repealed.
