SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That this Act shall take-
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 327.
AN ACT to repeal sections one and two of an Act
passed January session, eighteen hundred and
sixty-eight, chapter one hundred and eighteen,
entitled an Act to incorporate the United States
Real Estate, Mining and Manufacturing Company,
of Maryland, and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.
SECTION 1. -Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That sections one and two of an Act
passed January session, eighteen hundred and sixty-
eight, chapter one hundred and eighteen, entitled an
Act to incorporate the United States Real Estate,
Mining and Manufacturing Company, of Maryland,
be and the same are hereby repealed, and re-enacted'
with amendments so as to read as follows:
SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That Mathew T. Goswell,
Jesse K. . Hines, Arthur P. German, Edward J.
Chaisty, Jr., I. Freeman Raisin, John W. Davis,
Wm. H. Whyte, John A, Needles, John T. Graham,
